Vidarbha level Convention for Folk Practitioners on Primary Health Care and Medicinal plants (1st - 3rd July 2018):

Health for all has been the guiding vision for the past seven decades. At the moment half of the world population do not receive the essential health care services. Universal health coverage enabled people to make good health decision. In spite of this India stands in the 154th place amongst U.N. countries. Majority of the population do not receive primary health care. One in five persons does not approach a doctor because they cannot afford it financially. No one should get sick and die just because they are poor, or because they cannot access the health services they need.
Medicinal plants and herbs are natural resources for good health. They act in almost magical and astonishing ways. Since ancient times plants and herbs have been used for healing purposes and maintaining good health. Even as medical science has progressed, methods & ideas based on medicinal plants & herbs healing have sustained & grown in various countries. Their remedies have led the scientist to the development of numerous modern drugs. In view of this present scenario we have organized this three days Vidarbha level convention for Folk practitioners on Primary health care and medicinal plants & herbs at Navshristhi Ashram, Shantivanam.
