The Chaitanya Kerala Mahayagnam

The ‘Chaitanya Kerala Mahayagnam’ initiated by DRV in Kerala on 9th August 2010 will provide the much-needed vision and mission for the spiritual and moral regeneration of religions in Kerala. The three major religions in Kerala (Hinduism, Christianity & Islam) can also be partners in the divine mission of transforming Kerala into a ‘Chaitanya Keralam’ which will truly be a ‘God’s own land’ in the real sense of the term.
For Christians, Chaitanya Keralam will be a ‘Second Israel’ where the ‘Gospel of Love & Peace’ of Lord Jesus Christ will lead to a ‘Total Revolution’ to rebuild the socio-economic-political dimensions of human life on a new foundation of love. For Hindus, Chaitanya Keralam will be a ‘Second Kurukshetra’ where a new ‘Dharma Yudh’ has to be fought against the combined forces of Communism, Communalism and Consumerism. For Muslims, Chaitanya Keralam will be a ‘Second Mecca’ where ‘Islam’ can give practical expressions to its two central themes of  ‘peace’ and ‘submission to the will of God’. For enlightened Statesmen, Chaitanya Keralam will be a ‘Political Laboratory’ to develop a truly decentralized and value-based ‘Panchayati Raj Democracy’. Such a democracy will be Kerala’s greatest contribution to India and the world. Politics in the blood of Keralites and it is in the field of politics that Kerala can make its best contribution.
Tyagarchana will be DRV’s ‘Brahmastra’  (divine weapon) to win the moral battle in Kerala. The depth and breadth of Tyagarchana practiced by believers in God belonging to the three religions  in Kerala will determine the success or failure of DRV in this historic moral battle. The verdict of history will be passed and the future of Kerala and India will depend on the courage shown by the people of Kerala, especially the youth and women of Kerala, in the coming years. In the specific and unique context of DRV & Chaitanya Kerala Mahayagnam, the  Tyagarchana programme is modified as ‘Make a sacrifice and say a prayer daily for Chaitanya Keralam’
Members of DBM & DRV are requested to contribute the savings from their daily sacrifices to DRV for the success of the Chaitanya Kerala  Mahayagnam. Members and supporters can also deposit one rupee everyday for the Chaitanya Kerala  Mahayagnam  in a Tyagarchana Kitty Bank  and give the amount every month to DRV for its mission.
